I just watched Mission Impossible 4 – Ghost Protocol – great action and exciting stunts. The evil female assassin, Sabine Moreau, is played by French actress Léa Seydoux, born July 1, 1985. She also had a small role in Midnight in Paris, as the antique dealer (Owen Wilson’s character) Gil eventually falls for. Before that, she was nominated for a César award for the most promising actress in 2009 for her role in La Belle Personne.

Seydoux is from a prominent family in the French film industry. Her grandfather, Jérôme Seydoux, is the CEO (PDG in French) of Pathé, the company that bought out the Lumière brothers. Her great-uncle, Nicolas Seydoux, is the CEO of Gaumont. She may be connected to heavy hitters, but the talent is her own. Her only line in French in the film is “Tuez les!” (toay lay) or “Kill them!” Fortunately for Tom Cruise and Jeremy Renner, the henchmen of the evil assassin weren’t quite as talented as Léa Seydoux.
